staff reporter :: Rangamati Science and Technology University (RMSTU) Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Pradanendu Bikash Chakma along with the students, teachers, officers and employees paid tributes to the martyrs of the Liberation war 1971 by placing wreaths on the occasion of Victory Day.
16 December In the morning at around 6:30 he paid the homage at the central Shaheed Minar in Rangamati,
Rangamati Science and Technology University authority also arranged a discussion programme on Victory Day at the temporary campus of Rangamati Science and Technology University .
Vice Chancellor of RMSTU presided over the discussion programme where the former state minister of Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs Mr. Dipangkar Talukder was the chair.
At the discussion programme MP Feroza Begum Chinu, Rangamati Zilla Parishad member Md. Kamal Uddin and Mr. Musa Mattabbor also spoke.
Rangamati brigade commander Brig. Gen. Golam Faruqque was also present at the programme.
A prize giving ceremony and cultural programme were also held. Scholarship money was given to meritorious students and the winners of cricket match and badminton tournament on the occasion of Victory day.
