Redbridge Community Trust’s executive meeting was held on Leyswood Drive

--- Press Release :: Redbridge Community Trust held its executive committee meeting on 4th July, 2 pm at the Apple Real Estate 84 Leyswood Drive, Ig2. After a delicious lunch prepared by the local community, the meeting held followed its agenda. The meeting was chaired by M Ohid Uddin with the cooperation of Vice President Mahbub Hussain Runu and Asst secretary Niaz Choudhury. The following members were present Mahbub Hussain Runu, Niaz Choudhury Shuvon, Afsor Hussain Anam, Shaheen Choudhury, Zohir Hussain, Joynul Choudhury, Abu, Maruf Ahmed, Farook Uddin, Nahin Mahmud, Abul Kalam, Baharul alam Mahmud Choudhury, Golam md Rofik, Emdad Ahmed and Misbah Jamal. Apologies were received from Fanu Miah, Anwar Uddin, Shajan Ali, Farook Uddin, Hannan and Emdad Ahmed and the minutes of the last meeting unanimously were approved. Members of the committee thanked the Associate Director of Public health m/s. Sreeparna Roy of Redbridge council for her overwhelming response to attend the zoom meeting held on Friday and for her extreme support to work with Redbridge community trust. The committee has decided to hold a meeting with her in the near future to further discuss issues around the vaccine and other public health concerns. The president Mr. Uddin expressed his thanks to the members for attending and then after he delivered his last years report and requested members to propose plans and programs. Many proposals were raised such as a trip in summer to the seaside or a pleasant and relaxing place, youth club, Eid re union celebration, and national days of Bangladesh. Mr. Afsor Hussain Anam was given responsibility to organise the trip in partnership with Living Healthy. Mr Zohir Hussain strongly proposed to drive membership and look for a place to do the activities. Everyone will happily contribute towards the cost until the organisation is charity registered. Mr Shaheen Choudhury will arrange the next meeting with Sreeparna Roy. Actions were agreed and will be followed up at the next meeting.
