Bandarban correspondent :: Boarder Guard Bangladesh-BGB has arrested a Rohingya with 33 gold bars in Bandarban.The arrested Rohingya is Zainul Abedin (65).Zainul Abedin is a Rohingya sheltered at Zero Point in Tambru area. He is the son of the late Fazr Ahmed.He was arrested along with 33 gold bars in a raid on the east side of the TV relay substation on the Cox’s Bazar-Teknaf road on Monday morning.Lt. Col. Ali Haider Azad Ahmed, the commander of 34 BGB, confirmed the arrest of Rohingyas with gold bars. Rohingya smuggler Zainul Abedin will be handed over to Ukhia police station. The recovered gold bars are being processed at the Cox’s Bazar Treasury Office said Lt. Col. Ali Haider Azad Ahmed.
